Career Opportunity: Senior Archives Manager, Hongkong Land

Responsibilities:

  • Bring strategic thinking and specialist knowledge to develop the company's Corporate Archives Function
  • Develop and implement the archives and cataloguing policies/procedures and initiate modifications thereto when necessary
  • Develop, with the relevant business units and departments, guidelines and procedures for the surveying, appraisal, selection and disposal of company records in such business units and departments, implement the transfer, preservation and restoration of archived records and collections
  • Develop and maintain a digital archives system
  • Organise and conduct oral interviews
  • Provide access to company archives in accordance with the company's access policy and respond to research inquiries from internal and external; deliver archives tours
  • Develop engagement program; provide advice, guidance and training on records and archives management to business/functional units and staff
  • Conduct audits of company records management
  • Manage the Archives' budget and resources

 Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in appropriate disciplines, e.g. Archives Management, Library and Information Science, Digital Record Keeping, Preservation and Conservation
  • At least 8-10 years' relevant experience as a professional archivist, with not less than 3 years at supervisory level
  • Demonstrate a good knowledge of archival principles and practices, including international standards in archives and records management
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese·
