HSBC Heritage Manager Asia Pacific

This is an exciting opportunity to join HSBC's team of archivists spanning London, Hong Kong, Paris and New York.

Our archives form one of the most international corporate collections in the world. At the heart of it are the records of The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, founded in Hong Kong in 1865. The collections include annual reports, minute books, banknotes, photographs, films and more. They capture our evolution and the contributions of employees over the years. They also tell a story of the social and economic history of the communities we serve.

The Heritage Manager Asia Pacific will be based in Hong Kong and will report into the Regional Head of Archives. They will be responsible for providing strategic management and specialist expertise to plan and deliver heritage projects across ASP to reinforce the Bank’s strategy and drive engagement, including leading and developing the Hong Kong Archives Centre engagement programme. The Heritage Manager will also drive other high profile heritage output – both within ASP and Global - responding to stakeholder requirements and taking specific responsibility for historical research and writing, and providing curatorial direction and editorial oversight for the development of content on the HSBC History website.
